Review and Publish Content
To check if content is awaiting approval, locate the dropdown on the left and click on the ‘Content Submissions’ button or the ‘Course Submissions’ button in the ‘Channel Management’ section. Here, you will see all content yet to be reviewed or published.
To review and make changes to content, click on ‘Review’.
After final changes have been made and content is ready to be published, click on the ‘Publish’ button displayed at the top right-hand corner of the screen. You must then decide which stream you'd like the content to be published in. By toggling the email icon, you can also choose whether or not to send an email notification to all users about the new content.
If the content isn't ready or right for publication, it can easily be declined. Just click ‘Decline’, which will open the following window:
Here, comments may be left for the content author, regarding potential improvements or feedback.
When a course is submitted to a channel, a channel manager also has the option to choose whether or not the course order is restricted when published.
Streams
In order to publish individual pieces of content, at least one stream must be created. Streams are sub-divisions of channels, into which the content is organized.
To create and manage streams, from the dropdown, click on the ‘Manage Content’ or the ‘Manage Course’ option, then click on the ‘Manage Streams’ button.
From here streams can be renamed, hidden or created.
Only content can be sorted into streams. Courses are published directly into channels and do not belong to a stream.
MANAGE CONTENT AND COURSES
To manage existing content and courses click on ‘Manage Content’ or ‘Manage Courses’ from the dropdown in the left.
From here content can be unpublished, featured or moved (to another stream). You can also choose to restrict or remove the restriction on course order here.
