The analytics dashboard can be accessed by Community Administrators and Channel Managers.
Community Administrators
To access the analytics dashboard as a Community Administrator, go to the Analytics section of your Community Admin Panel.
The first element in the dashboard is Overall Stats.
This gives you an overview of the number of members in your community (Active members only, it does not include deactivated members).
The following element in the dashboard is the Channel Activity.
This section is very useful in determining trends between channels and individuating in which channels your users have been more active. The column Active Members indicate how many users have started at least one content in that channel. The column views indicated the number of unique views of content in the channel. Notice that by dividing the number of Views by the number of Active Users you can obtain the number of contents the average user has started in that channel. This element can also be filtered by time (either Last Year or last 30 Days).
The next element in the dashboard is Content Trends.
Content Trends shows how much content is being published, Opened and Completed. This chart also allows us to easily visualize the correlation between content publishing and reading. The Content Trends can also be filtered by specific channels and by time (either Last Year or Last 30 Days).
The next element is Top Content.
Top Content presents the most read content in the community and includes information such as the channel where the content is published, the number of users who have started that content and the completion rate. Top Content can also be filtered by specific channels and by time (either Last Year or Last 30 Days).
The next section is Top Members.
Top Members lists the members in the community with the highest points on the leaderboard. Top Members can be filtered by specific channels and by time (either Last Year or Last 30 Days).
The final section of the analytics dashboard is the report section (more on that here).
