*Please note that you have to be a community admin to to help reset the passwords of your users.*
Resetting the passwords of your users can be done by accessing the Manage Members tab from the Admin area under 'Manage Community'.
Find the user in the list or use the search bar, then click on the gear icon and choose Reset Password.
If you want to bulk reset your users' passwords, click on Reset Passwords, beside the member search bar:
Then, you have the option of searching for members to reset password, or the option to select many members at once. (i.e. search one by one to select and add to the list vs selecting many members at once. )
If you choose to select many members at once, you will need to enter the usernames associated with the accounts you want to reset the password for. You can also copy these from a list e.g. in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for pasting, as long as the data to be copied is separated.
After you have selected the community members, click on the Next button to proceed with the action.
You will then be brought to a screen to show you a summary of the users selected, click Next to proceed with the action.
You will be given the option to email the new password to your users directly. If you choose not to enable this option, please copy the passwords from the screen below
Once you click Confirm, the next screen will show you the system-generated passwords.
Kindly note that these are system-generated passwords. Kindly advise your users to go to Account Settings upon logging in and change the system-generated password to a password of their preference.
